Flyby to Equip 35 Training Aircraft with Flight Recorders

Flyby Aviation Academy in Spain will install flight data recorders from FlyData.io on 35 of its training aircraft. Installation is scheduled to begin in September.

The system records position, altitude, speed, attitude, acceleration, vibrations, and cabin carbon monoxide levels, and allows real-time tracking of the aircraft. Data will be used to improve flight safety and for training, letting instructors review flights in detail with students. The companies say Flyby is the first flight school in Spain to introduce such a system fleet-wide at this scale.
