German Airways adds Zurich route for Condor in winter 2026/27 schedule
German Airways will operate an Embraer E190 wet-lease service to Zurich for Condor this winter, replacing Venice, which drops out of the seasonal network.
German Airways will fly to Zurich on Condor's behalf during the 2026/27 winter schedule, the carrier said. The route is new to its seasonal network and replaces Venice, which will not be served in winter.
Condor plans three daily flights between Frankfurt and Zurich. Helvetic Airways will also operate on the route for the German leisure and city-break carrier, and German Airways will add one daily Frankfurt-Zurich rotation using an Embraer E190.
Beyond Zurich, German Airways will mainly fly three other routes for Condor out of Frankfurt this winter: a daily flight to London Gatwick, three daily flights to Milan Malpensa, and two daily flights to Munich.
Under the wet-lease arrangement, German Airways operates flights under Condor's brand using its own aircraft and crew. The seasonal change reflects reduced winter demand for Venice, while Zurich is added to cover capacity needs on that route alongside Helvetic Airways.
No further changes to the wider Condor network were mentioned in connection with this update.
