Heston Airlines, a Lithuanian charter carrier, says it is operating flights for Syrian Air on the new Damascus-Vienna route, supplying an Airbus A320 and crew to the Syrian carrier.

Syrian Air resumed direct service to Vienna at the end of September, ending an interruption of roughly 14 years.

The two carriers already work together. Under an ACMI partnership, Heston flies for Syrian Air between Damascus and Amsterdam, providing aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance.
