Honeywell and Aeronamic open F-35 power system test facility in the Netherlands
Honeywell Aerospace and Aeronamic have set up a test site in the Netherlands for the F-35's Power & Thermal Management System, part of building regional repair capacity for the component.

Honeywell Aerospace and Aeronamic have opened a test facility in the Netherlands for the Power & Thermal Management System fitted to the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II, Honeywell said. The system combines several aircraft systems and helps with cooling, heat dissipation and power supply.
PTMS turbomachinery can now be tested on site. The facility is part of building a regional repair capability for these components.
Honeywell said the arrangement is meant to shorten turnaround times, cut logistics effort and improve availability across European F-35 fleets.
