Iberia extends Disney Destinations partnership for three more years

Iberia and Disney Destinations have extended their collaboration agreement by three years. The deal keeps the Spanish carrier as the preferred airline for travellers from Spain heading to Disney theme parks and cruises.

The relationship dates to 2017. The renewal is set up to link the family travel experience from boarding through to arrival at the parks and resorts. The signing took place at Espacio Iberia, with María Jesús López Solás, Iberia's director of commercial, network and alliances, and Tiago Santos, Disney Destinations' general manager for Spain and Portugal, taking part.

The agreement covers Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, and the Disney Cruise Line. López Solás said the airline was pleased to extend the collaboration by three more years, adding that the two sides share the aim of having customers begin the experience from the moment they leave home, whether they are flying to Disneyland Paris, to Orlando or boarding a Disney cruise. Santos said the renewal after nine years of joint work would continue a relationship that has brought thousands of Spanish families closer to the Disney destinations, describing it as more than a way of travelling.
