Lufthansa Cargo to acquire LUG Aircargo Handling
Lufthansa Cargo has signed an agreement to fully acquire LUG Aircargo Handling from the Dettmer Group, expanding its handling capabilities in Germany.

Lufthansa Cargo signed an agreement on September 7 to fully acquire LUG Aircargo Handling from the Dettmer Group. The purchase is intended to expand the cargo airline's handling capacity in Germany. Completion remains subject to antitrust and regulatory approvals.
LUG employs around 400 people and operates approximately 50,000 square metres of covered warehouse space, along with an additional 18,000 square metres of office and infrastructure space. The company is expected to continue operating independently in the market after the acquisition, and existing customer relationships will be maintained. No purchase price was disclosed.
