Mahan Air is expanding its Southeast Asian network in the winter 2026/27 schedule even as US sanctions remain in place against the Iranian carrier.

From 27 October, the airline will fly once a week from Tehran Imam Khomeini to Hanoi, up from a fortnightly service. Airbus A340-300 aircraft will be used on the route.

The Ho Chi Minh City service moves to the same weekly rhythm, also with an A340-300.

On the Tehran to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi route, Mahan Air plans three weekly flights with the larger Airbus A340-600 from 25 October, according to the schedule details reported by Aero Routes.
