Malaysia Airlines suspends Jeddah and Medina flights until 17 October
Malaysia Airlines has halted flights to Jeddah and Medina from 12 to 17 October, citing safety concerns after recent attacks on airports in Saudi Arabia. Services to Doha are unaffected.

Malaysia Airlines has suspended all flights to Jeddah and Medina from 12 October through 17 October inclusive. The carrier said the decision followed recent attacks on airports in Saudi Arabia and reflects safety concerns over the current situation in the region. The suspension covers connections departing from Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru. Malaysia Airlines said it is continuing to monitor developments closely.
Passengers holding tickets on the affected services can obtain a full refund or rebook at no charge onto a later flight. Rebooking is available within a 30-day window from the original departure date, the airline said.
