Textron has announced delivery of a Cessna Sky Courier to Paraguay's air force, making it the first military operator of the twin-engine turboprop in South America.

The aircraft will be used for medical evacuations, patient transport and humanitarian aid, among other tasks. Its high payload and single-pilot operation are intended to let it reach remote regions of Paraguay.

The Sky Courier joins the air force's existing Cessna Grand Caravan fleet, and can be used for cargo, passenger and special missions.
