A power bank caught fire aboard an IndiGo Airbus A321 on Sunday, 11 October, prompting the flight to divert to Hyderabad. The aircraft was flying 6E6115 from Delhi to Chennai with more than 180 passengers on board when flames appeared in an overhead baggage compartment above the seats.

Video footage shows flames coming from the bin as passengers try to put them out, according to the Indian Express.
