Regent seaglider first flight delayed after hydrofoil mishap damages wing

Regent's first full-scale seaglider prototype sustained wing damage during hydrofoiling tests in October, according to The Air Current. The electric flying boat had been undergoing sea trials since March 2025, and the company initially expected to move from hydrofoiling to flight tests by that summer. That schedule slipped, and the test program went on hold after the craft's left pontoon struck the water, breaking the wing.
