Boeing August orders centered on 787 Dreamliner

Boeing's new orders in August were dominated by the 787, with 13 of 15 aircraft from unidentified customers being Dreamliners.

Boeing's August order intake was heavily weighted toward the 787 family. The U.S. planemaker logged orders for 15 aircraft from unidentified customers. Only two were for the 737 Max.

The remaining 13 were Dreamliners: 11 787-9s and two 787-10s. GE was listed as the engine manufacturer for one 787-9 and both 787-10s. For the other ten 787-9s, no engine selection was recorded.
