Riyadh Air begins nonstop flights between Riyadh and Manchester

Riyadh Air has flown its first nonstop service between King Khalid International Airport (RUH) in Riyadh and Manchester (MAN) in England, the airline said.

The route launched September 17 and operates three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Boeing 787-9s fly the sector with 290 seats in three cabins: 28 business seats, four of them Business Elite, 39 premium economy and 223 economy.

Manchester is the carrier's second UK destination. Riyadh Air began regular commercial service to London-Heathrow (LHR) in June 2026, after flying to the British capital from October 2025 on a basis not open to the general public.

The airline has been adding routes across Europe, Asia and the Middle East since starting regular operations. As of September 17, it connects the Saudi capital directly to 14 destinations: London-Heathrow, Jeddah, Dubai, Cairo, Madrid, Manchester, Kuala Lumpur, Dhaka, Mumbai, Islamabad, Lahore, Bangkok and Manila. Málaga in Spain was served seasonally from July 14 to September 8, 2026.
