Star Alliance to open own lounge at Seoul Incheon in late 2026
The alliance signed a memorandum of understanding with the airport to convert the existing Asiana Business Lounge West into a Star Alliance Lounge after Asiana leaves the alliance in December 2026.

Star Alliance plans to open its own lounge at Seoul Incheon Airport in the fourth quarter of 2026. The alliance and the airport operator have signed a memorandum of understanding for the project.
The existing Asiana Airlines Business Lounge West in Terminal 1 will be converted into the Star Alliance Lounge. Asiana is set to leave Star Alliance on 16 December 2026 as part of its integration into Korean Air. Until then, eligible alliance passengers use Asiana lounges at the airport.
The new lounge will serve passengers flying with the 14 Star Alliance member carriers that operate to Incheon. It will be the seventh alliance-branded lounge worldwide.
