Sun Phu Quoc Airways plans daily Ho Chi Minh City–Shanghai flights
The Vietnamese carrier intends to launch daily direct service between Ho Chi Minh City and Shanghai on 15 October, its first daily connection to China.
Sun Phu Quoc Airways is expanding its network to China. The Vietnamese carrier plans daily direct flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Shanghai from 15 October, according to the airline. That would be its first daily connection to mainland China.
Its current China offering consists of flights from Chengdu to Phu Quoc three times a week and to Ho Chi Minh City four times a week. A further route between Hanoi and Shanghai is to be added in November. For March 2027, the airline also plans direct flights from Phu Quoc to Shanghai.
