Syrian Airlines resumes direct Damascus–Copenhagen flights
Syrian Airlines has restarted direct service between Damascus and Copenhagen, with Vienna to follow, according to the Syrian civil aviation authority. Germany is next in line for a new European route.
Syrian Airlines has restored a direct link between Damascus and Copenhagen. The first flight left the Syrian capital on Monday. Vienna follows on Tuesday as the second European destination.
The Syrian civil aviation authority says the carrier now serves three European points: Amsterdam, Vienna and Copenhagen. More expansion is planned. A route to Germany is to be announced next, with flights to France and other destinations under work after that.
No specific German airports or launch dates have been given.
