Tecnam names Giovanni Pascale Langer as new chief executive
The Italian planemaker Tecnam has handed operational leadership to the third generation of the Pascale family, with Giovanni Pascale Langer appointed chief executive and his predecessor moving to the role of president.

Tecnam has changed its leadership. The Italian aircraft manufacturer's board unanimously appointed Giovanni Pascale Langer as its new chief executive, with the change taking effect retroactively from 8 October 2026. He succeeds Paolo Pascale Langer, who becomes president and remains with the company.
The appointment puts the third generation of the Pascale family in charge of day-to-day operations at the Capua-based planemaker, whose history the company traces back to 1948. Tecnam says it has delivered more than 8,500 aircraft to over 60 countries.
Born in 1991, the new chief executive started at Tecnam as an apprentice in aircraft assembly. He has served as managing director since 2019, a role in which the company says he was responsible for international business development and for its activities in Italy and the United States.
As chief executive, he intends to push international expansion, broaden the company's product and service offering, and further develop digitalisation and its industrial manufacturing processes.
