Transavia France to add first Airbus A321 Neo in 2027
Transavia France will begin operating the Airbus A321 Neo from 2027, with the first aircraft due to enter service at the end of the first quarter, according to a report. Five of the type are planned to be flying by the peak of the 2027 summer schedule.

Transavia France will begin flying the Airbus A321 Neo in 2027, with the first aircraft due to enter service at the end of the first quarter, according to the portal Journal de L'Aviation. Five A321 Neo are expected to be in operation for the French low-cost carrier by the height of the 2027 summer schedule.
Until now, the only newer Airbus aircraft at Transavia France has been the A320 Neo. That fleet counts 31 examples, and a further 67 Boeing 737-800 make up the rest of its aircraft.
According to the airline, the A321 Neo offers roughly 25 percent more capacity than the A320 Neo, and unit costs about 10 percent lower. The carrier intends to deploy the larger type in particular on routes where slots are tight or traffic rights are limited.
