Boeing 737 (all variants)

WestJet holds the contractual title of launch customer for the Boeing 737 MAX 10. Alaska Airlines has been the more vocal carrier about the aircraft's timeline.

Alaska's chief operating officer, Jason Berry, said certification was expected by the end of September 2026, with entry into passenger service following between April and mid-May.

Who launches the type now turns less on Boeing and more on software compatibility, the order in which regulators sign off, and which carrier can move quickest once the FAA approves the aircraft.
