XenomatiX 6D Road Scanning System Assesses Runway Pavement Condition

XenomatiX is offering its 6D Road Scanning technology for assessing and surveying runway pavement condition. The system combines high-precision LiDAR with a high-resolution camera and GNSS to measure runway conditions and produce a digital 6D profile of the pavement. According to the company, it captures millimetre-level data to detect and characterize cracks, potholes, rutting, raveling, surface deformations such as depressions, and other pavement distresses.
