Incident Overview
The aircraft was being flown for a check flight following minor maintenance. During the takeoff roll at approximately 84 knots, the pilot observed a decrease in fuel flow to the right engine, accompanied by a loss of power on the right side. The pilot initiated an aborted takeoff. However, realizing that the remaining runway length was insufficient to bring the aircraft to a stop, the pilot elected to steer off the right side of the runway.
Sequence of Events
The aircraft departed the runway surface and subsequently went through a fence. The impact with the fence caused the nose landing gear to collapse. The aircraft came to a stop after the nose gear collapse.
Investigation Findings
No pre-accident mechanical malfunction or failure was identified during the investigation. The cause of the power loss remains undetermined based on the available evidence.
