Incident Overview
Shortly after takeoff, an aircraft lost altitude and collided with terrain beyond the departure end of the runway. The pilot reported that immediately after takeoff, a stall warning sounded. Upon reaching approximately 60 feet above ground level, the aircraft experienced a loss of performance, describing the subsequent behavior as similar to a sudden downdraft.
Witness Observation
A witness on the ground observed the aircraft in a nose-high attitude before it lost altitude and crashed.
