Background
The pilot of an aerial application aircraft reported that he had previously flown with chemical loads without encountering problems during takeoff. However, on the accident flight, a chemical with greater density (weight per volume) was loaded aboard the aircraft.
Incident
According to the pilot, he did not consider the added weight when the aircraft was loaded. He acknowledged that he attempted to take off with the aircraft loaded above its maximum certificated gross weight. During the attempted takeoff, the aircraft would not become airborne.
Outcome
The aircraft overran the end of the 2,650-foot-long runway and collided with terrain.
