Incident Summary
According to the pilot, the aircraft accelerated to between 90 and 95 knots during the takeoff roll but did not respond to back pressure on the controls to lift off. The aircraft continued off the departure end of the runway, glided over a road, and came to rest in trees on the opposite side. Braking to stop before reaching the end of the runway was reported as not possible due to ice on the runway surface.
Pilot Report
The pilot stated that despite reaching a normal takeoff speed, the aircraft failed to become airborne. After proceeding off the runway end, the aircraft crossed a highway before impacting trees. The pilot noted that ice on the runway prevented effective braking to stop within the runway length.
Aircraft Examination
Post-accident examination of the aircraft did not reveal any control system malfunctions or failures. No mechanical issues were identified that would have prevented a normal takeoff.
