During landing on Runway 30, the airplane veered right, departed the runway, and nosed over after the nose wheel encountered snow. The pilot reported unresponsive left rudder. Witnesses reported higher winds than officially stated.

Accident Overview

Upon touchdown on Runway 30, the airplane began to veer to the right of the runway centerline. The pilot stated that he applied left rudder input, but the airplane did not appear to respond. The airplane continued in the same direction until it departed the runway. Subsequently, the nose wheel encountered several inches of snow, and the airplane nosed over.
