What happened
The flight was conducted under visual flight rules when the airplane lost engine power during the climb phase. With no other options available, the pilot executed a forced landing in the only accessible area nearby. This location was obstructed by fences that crossed the intended landing roll path.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft collided with several of these fences. The momentum carried the plane across multiple roads before it eventually nosed over and came to rest in an inverted position.
The investigation
A post-accident examination of the engine was conducted to determine the cause of the power loss. The inspection revealed that the accessory drive pin had sheared, which likely disconnected critical engine components necessary for operation.
