Incident Overview
A pilot was conducting takeoff and landing practice within the airport traffic pattern, intending to complete three circuits. The pilot initially attempted a power-off landing but needed to add power to reach the runway. On the second approach, the pilot flew a tighter pattern and had to realign the airplane with the runway on final. As the airspeed dropped rapidly, the pilot initiated a go-around. During this maneuver, the left wing struck the runway, but the pilot continued the go-around due to traffic.
