Accident Details
A student pilot reported that during the takeoff roll on runway 4, the airplane began to yaw to the left. The throttle was at full power. The pilot attempted to correct the yaw with right rudder, but the airplane continued off the left side of the runway onto the grass. It subsequently struck a ditch and nosed over.

The pilot had accumulated over 30 hours of total flight experience, including 17 hours in the make and model of the accident airplane and 7 hours of solo flight experience.
Mechanical Examination
The pilot reported that there was no mechanical malfunction with the airplane or the engine that contributed to the accident.

The reported weather at the time of the accident included winds from 020 degrees at 10 knots, with gusts to 14 knots.
