Accident Description
The accident occurred during a soft field takeoff. After becoming airborne, the pilot lowered the airplane's nose in an attempt to enter ground effect. Subsequently, the airplane began to drift to the left.
Pilot Actions
In response to the left drift, the pilot neutralized the wings and applied right rudder correction. The airplane's right wing then pitched upward, causing the left wing to strike the ground.
Outcome
The airplane came to rest approximately 1,500 feet down the runway from the initial takeoff point. The pilot did not report any mechanical problems with the airplane.
