The aircraft overran the departure end of the runway during an aborted takeoff, resulting in substantial damage. The crew initiated a rejected takeoff when the pilot flying could not rotate the airplane normally.

Aircraft Systems

The aircraft is equipped with a two-position horizontal stabilizer system that reduces elevator control forces.
