What happened
On October 3, 2018, at approximately 0754 UTC, a Cessna Citation XLS+, registered 5N-HAR, was performing a takeoff roll at Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa / Bauchi State International Airport in Bauchi, Nigeria. During the takeoff sequence, the aircraft failed to lift off upon reaching V1 speed. The aircraft subsequently sustained minor damage during the aborted takeoff roll. There were no injuries reported for the pilot or the two passengers on board.
