A student pilot reported performing two touch and go landings. During the ground roll of a subsequent takeoff, the pilot advanced the throttle forward.
Accident Sequence
The pilot stated that the airplane "veered sharply to the left" and departed the runway. He was unable to "reduce the power" because the terrain was bumpy. The nose wheel struck an outcropping of sagebrush, separating the nose gear. Subsequently, the airplane nosed over, resulting in substantial damage.
