Accident Details
On January 16, 2008, at approximately 1850 coordinated universal time (UTC), a Bell 212 helicopter, registered in Peru as OB-1850, sustained substantial damage when it impacted a jungle area near Kiteni, Peru, under unknown circumstances. The helicopter was carrying two flightcrew members and seven passengers, with injuries unknown. The aircraft had departed Kiteni at an unspecified time, with an intended return to the same location.
