Accident Overview
On May 15, 2008, at 1800 universal coordinated time, a Cessna T210N, registration OB-1203, operated by Aero Montanas S.A. - AMSA, as a charter flight, experienced a total loss of engine power while in cruise flight. The pilot made a forced landing into the jungle. The airplane was destroyed by the impact and subsequent post-impact fire. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time.
Occupants and Injuries
The commercial pilot and four passengers sustained fatal injuries. One passenger received serious injuries.

The flight originated from David Abensur International Airport (SPCL) in Ucayali, Peru, at an undetermined time. It was en route to Puerto Esperanza Airport (SPEP), also in Ucayali, when the accident occurred.
Investigation
The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Peru, specifically the Comision de Investigacion de Accidentes de Aviacion (CIAA) of the Direccion General de Aeronautica Civil.
