On May 15, 2008, at 1800 UTC, a Cessna T210N, registration OB-1203, was operating as a charter flight from David Abensur International Airport (SPCL) to Puerto Esperanza Airport (SPEP) in Ucayali, Peru. While in the cruise phase of flight, the aircraft experienced a total loss of engine power.

The pilot attempted a forced landing into the jungle. The impact and a subsequent post-impact fire destroyed the aircraft. At the time of the accident, weather conditions were visual meteorological conditions (VMC) with a visibility of 10 statute miles and winds from 210 degrees at 04 knots.
