Incident Details
A pilot was conducting a touch and go landing on runway 34, which has an asphalt surface measuring 10,000 by 100 feet. The maneuver was performed as part of a flight review. During the landing roll, the aircraft experienced a ground loop to the left.
Damage
The aircraft sustained damage to the right auxiliary wing spar, which was bent upward, and the right main landing gear folded under the aircraft.
Pilot Report
The pilot reported that there were no mechanical anomalies or failures with the airplane or its systems prior to the accident. The flight instructor, who was present during the flight review, took no action during the ground loop.
