What happened
On February 24, 2009, at approximately 1750 UTC, an Air Nostument Bombardier CL-600-2B19, operating under registration EC-IKZ, encountered a dual engine failure. The event occurred while the aircraft was on approach to Santander Airport (LEXJ) in Santander, Spain.
The flight crew successfully restarted both engines during the approach. The aircraft subsequently completed the landing without further incident. There were no injuries to the passengers or crew, and the aircraft sustained no damage.
