Incident Summary
A private pilot received clearance from the tower to take off on runway 17. During the takeoff roll, a gust of wind lifted the left wing, causing the aircraft to rotate approximately 45 degrees to the right. The right wing then made contact with the runway surface, followed by the propeller. The aircraft came to rest in an upright position with its nose on the runway.
Damage
Substantial damage was confirmed to the firewall. Additional damage was reported to the right main landing gear and propeller, with minor damage to the right wing tip.
Occupants
The pilot and passenger were not injured.

The weather at the departure airport, reported 10 minutes after the accident, indicated winds from 160 degrees at 21 knots with gusts to 30 knots.
