Accident Details
On March 9, 2009, at approximately 2030 UTC, a Beech A36 aircraft, Brazilian registration PT-LKH, was destroyed after impacting terrain near Querencia, Brazil. The pilot, the sole occupant, sustained fatal injuries. The flight was being conducted under Brazilian flight regulations.
According to preliminary information released by the Brazilian government, the pilot departed from Aragarcas, Brazil, on a visual flight rules (VFR) flight with a destination of Fazenda Felicidade, Brazil. While en route, the pilot encountered weather conditions, and the aircraft subsequently impacted terrain.
