What happened
On October 3, 2009, at approximately 10:30 central daylight time, a Beech A3::36TC, registration XB-CGU, struck terrain near Guanajuato, Mexico. The aircraft was engaged in a personal flight and was attempting to return to the Guanajuato International Airport (MMLO) when the accident occurred.
At the time of the impact, the weather was characterized by visual meteorological conditions with a visibility of 6 statute miles. The accident resulted in 2 fatalities and 1 serious injury.
