What happened

On February 2, 2010, an Airbus A300 B4-203, operating as MNG Airlines with registration TC-MNJ, was performing its landing roll at Cologne-Bonn Airport in Cologne, Germany. During the rollout, the righthand transcowl separated from the No. 2 engine, which is powered by GE CF6-50C2 engines.

The separation resulted in minor airplane damage to the aircraft. There were no injuries reported. Additionally, a subsequent aircraft on the runway collided with the debris from the transcowl, which caused damage to its wheels.
