What happened
On February 25, 2010, at approximately 11:30 local time, a Cessna U206F, registered as OB-1117, crashed near Nazca in the Ica Province of Peru. The aircraft, operated by Nazca Airlines, was conducting a sightseeing flight under visual meteorological conditions (VMC) in accordance with Peruvian flight regulations.
The impact with the terrain destroyed the aircraft. The flight involved a commercial pilot and six passengers, all of whom sustained 7 fatal injuries.
