What happened
On May 5, 2010, an Embraer 145, registration HK4536, was involved in a runway overrun at Mitu, Colombia. The aircraft, operated by Satena, exited the landing runway during its arrival. There were no injuries reported among the 4 crew members and 37 passengers on board.
The investigation
The Aeronáutica Civil de Colombia led the investigation into the incident. The NTSB was requested to provide assistance regarding the readout of the aircraft's avionics memory. The aircraft was powered by Rolls Royce-US engines.
