Incident Overview
On September 22, 2010, a World Airways McDonnell Douglas MD-11 aircraft scraped its right wingtip during a go-around at Kabul, Afghanistan. The aircraft was executing a go-around maneuver when the wingtip made contact with the ground or an object, resulting in a scrape.

The aircraft sustained minor damage from the wingtip scrape. There were no injuries reported among passengers or crew.
