What happened
On November 6, 2010, at approximately 1925 UTC, a Fairchild SA227-AC, registration N115GS, was performing a commercial flight from Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, Peru. While landing at the Alferez FAP David Figueroa Fernandini Airport in Huanuco, Peru, the aircraft's landing gear collapsed.
The incident resulted in substantial damage to the aircraft. There were no injuries reported among the two crew members or the seven passengers on board. At the time of the accident, visual meteorological conditions were in effect.
