Accident Overview
On May 24, 2011, at approximately 1300 UTC, a Beechcraft C90, registered as N346UZ, was on approach to Kaduna Airport (KAD) in Kaduna, Nigeria, when it collided with the ground. The local flight had originated at Kaduna Airport.
Injuries and Damage
The pilot and passenger aboard the aircraft were fatally injured. The airplane sustained substantial damage.
Investigation
The Nigeria Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) has initiated an investigation into the accident. As the state of manufacture, the United States has designated an Accredited Representative to participate in the inquiry.
