Incident Overview
A pilot reported that while landing on runway 21, the windsock indicated the wind was from 290 to 300 degrees at speeds exceeding 15 knots. As the airplane approached the runway, it encountered windshear. The shift in wind direction and increase in speed caused the airplane to float down the runway before touching down. The pilot stated he was unable to stop the airplane using the brakes, and it traveled off the end of the runway. The airplane then nosed over after encountering an embankment.

The pilot elected not to perform a go-around due to powerlines located near the departure end of the runway.

The empennage and wings sustained substantial damage.
