What happened
On November 26, 2011, at approximately 1300 UTC, a Cirrus SR20, bearing registration PR-LJL, crashed in the Carmo do Cajuri Municipality of Minas Gerais, Brazil.
The aircraft was performing a flight from Pampulha Airport (SBBH) in Belo Horizonte to Piumhi (SNUH) airport. During the flight, the aircraft encountered IMC (instrument meteorological conditions) and impacted the terrain, resulting in substantial damage to the airplane.
The crash resulted in 2 fatalities for the pilot and passenger.
