On January 14, 2012, at approximately 1000 universal coordinated time, a Beech A36 aircraft, Brazilian registration PR-RGF, was destroyed when it impacted terrain following a loss of control during cruise flight. The accident occurred as the aircraft encountered deteriorating weather conditions near Mato Grosso, Brazil. The pilot, who was not certificated by Brazilian authorities, and two passengers sustained fatal injuries.
