What happened
On February 25, 2012, at approximately 1150 UTC, a Piper PA-34-220T, registered as PR-LAB, was involved in an accident shortly after departing from Belém-Brigently Protásio de Oliveira Airport (SBJC) in Belém, Brazil. The aircraft was on a flight destined for Fazenda Nova Conceição Airport (SNZU) in Tomé Açu, Brazil.
During the initial climb phase, the aircraft impacted the terrain, causing substantial damage to the plane. The accident resulted in 3 fatal injuries, involving the pilot and two passengers.
