Incident
According to the pilot, during taxi he maneuvered his airplane between a parked airplane on the left and a hangar on the right. After clearing the parked airplane, while looking toward his left in anticipation of a left turn, the right wingtip of his airplane struck the hangar door.
Damage
The impact resulted in damage to the aft right wing spar. The pilot reported no preimpact mechanical malfunctions or failures that would have precluded normal operation.
